Easy Shrimp Alfredo

Ingredients:

  • 8-oz. Linguini or fettuccini
  • 1 lb. shrimp, shelled and deveined
  • 1 jar Alfredo sauce (any brand)
  • 2 to 3 large cloves garlic, sliced thin
  • 1 TBS Olive oil
  • 2 TBS butter
  • 1 TBS. snipped or chopped fresh parsley for garnish
  • Grated Parmesan at the table

Cook the pasta according to package.  Drain and set aside.

Heat the olive oil and butter in a skillet until butter is melted and bubbly.  Do not burn.  Sauté the garlic until fragrant or a few seconds.  Drop in the shrimp and sauté until pink and curled.  Add the Alfredo sauce and the pasta.  Stir and cook until heated through. Use a pair of tongs to mix the pasta up.

Transfer to a plate then sprinkle the parsley on top. 

This is very delicious and very easy to make.

Extra Parmesan cheese can be added at the table according to your taste.
