Season the spareribs with your favorite rub. Let stand for a few minutes. Pour 1 cup water and ½ cup vinegar in the Instant pot. Place a wire rack or trivet in the pot and wrap the ribs standing up around the sides of the pot, sitting on top of the trivet like a turret or a circular fence.
Set the lid and make sure the vent is closed for pressure cooking. Set the time for 25 minutes. Let cool on its own.
Light the charcoal on the grill and grill the cooked ribs until browned or broil until browned.
The ribs are so tender the meat comes off the bones. Dip it in your favorite barbecue sauce.
You can try this seasoning rub on the ribs:
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
Mix them together and sprinkle and rub it on both sides of the ribs. Let stand a few minutes before putting the ribs in the Instant Pot.
