Chinese Barbecued Pork Ribs

2 pounds baby pork ribs

Marinade:

  • 2 green onions cut in 1“ strips
  • 2 cloves garlic, slightly crushed
  • 1 TBS chili sauce
  • 2 TBS tomato sauce or catsup
  • 2 TBS corn syrup
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 2 TBS dry sherry
  • 2 TBS Honey for coating before cooking

Marinate the ribs in the marinade for 2 hours.  After an hour, baste and turn over.

Brush the ribs on both sides with 2 TBS Honey.  Hook the ribs to the oven rack and roast for 30 minutes at 275°F, another 30 minutes at 300°F, and finally for 10 minutes at 400°F.  Serve hot or cold and cut for appetizer.
